I just finished up a class learning how to make a Magic Carpet. I always wondered about these things. I just didn't have any in my inventory and decided to attend so I would at least have some scripts to play with later. I got a lot of good textures for carpets and tassels too, so that really worked out well. At the end of the class, everyone started flying everywhere. Fun, to say the least.
